Design the event page and its search appearance

Use the banner, logo, page metadata and promotion controls to give an event a clear identity and a useful public presence.

WHERE TO FIND IT

Event → Details → Banner and Logo / Page / Promote

SECTION 02

Set the page address and search text

File Name
The event page’s address identifier. Use a short, readable name and check the resulting public URL in preview. Preserve established addresses when updating an event. Changing an address can break links unless a redirect is arranged.
Page Title
The title supplied for the browser and search presentation. Describe the event and, where useful, the venue. This can be more informative than the short display title. Search engines may choose different wording.
Meta Description
A concise summary explaining the event and its appeal. Use natural language; repeating keywords does not make a useful description. Search engines may generate their own snippet.
Template
Choose the configured layout used to render this event. A template can determine which optional fields appear. Preview the whole page after changing it, including the ticket area.
Security → Permissions
Includes a Secure option for configured access-controlled pages. Confirm the account and template’s access rules, then test as a signed-out visitor and an intended attendee. Selecting a label alone is not a substitute for verifying access.
SECTION 03

Choose how the event is promoted

Show Attendees
Options include No, Yes - Total and Yes - Full List, plus an unset value. On templates that support it, choose whether to show no attendee information, a total or a list. Check what details are exposed before enabling a full list.
Twitter Hastag
This is the label shown in the editor for the event hashtag. Use a short, recognisable tag and check how your website places it in sharing links.
Hide Social Share Buttons
Hides the template’s supported social-share controls. It does not prevent a visitor copying or sharing the event URL.
Feature
Marks the event for configured featured-event placements. Check the relevant listing after publication.
Show On Banners
Makes the event eligible for configured banner placements. Supply appropriate banner artwork and check the actual website banner; position and selection depend on the template.

Featured placement helps people discover the event on your website. It does not send a newsletter. To promote the event to your opted-in customer list, prepare and review the weekly gig guide separately.

SECTION 04

Review the complete presentation

  1. Save & Preview and inspect the event banner, main image and title together.
  2. Check that the heading and button are readable against the photograph.
  3. Review the same page at a narrow width, including banner video and logo placement.
  4. Open the banner button, booking link and any social-share links to confirm their destinations.
  5. Check the public featured listing and banner after publication. If a setting has no effect, confirm that the selected template supports it before changing unrelated fields.
